Ingredients :
500 Grms Bhindi 1/4 cup bengal gram flour (Besan) 1/2 cup rice floor. (Chaler Guro) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder. 1 tsp carom seeds (Ajwain) 4 tsp chaat masala. Salt to taste. 1 Whole lime.
Methode :
Cut the bhindi in diamond shape. Wash the Bhindi and dry properly.
Put the bhindi in a large mixing bowl and add all the other dry ingredients on it, except salt & chaat masala. Add salt just before frying or else the okra will release water and become soggy.
Heat the cooking oil on a medium flame. Do not heat the oil too much as okra burns quickly when deep fried.
Take out from oil, when colour will be light brown. Garnish with the lime wages and sprinkle of chaat masala. Serve with steamed rice and yellow daal.
